This service indicates that a physician requires immediate laboratory results to make critical, time-sensitive medical decisions for an acutely ill patient.
STAT Ordering Rules & Premium Fees

Because STAT orders require a dedicated vehicle, interrupt standard operational routes, and guarantee immediate priority processing, they are subject to the following rules:

The STAT Premium Fee: Every STAT callout will incur a flat $75.00 Urgent Dispatch Fee in addition to the standard per-patient draw fee of $40.Automatic STAT Cut-Offs: Any lab request submitted after 3:30PM for same-day collection, or any order requiring a laboratory turnaround time of less than 4 hours, will automatically be classified, processed, and billed as a STAT order.

No Unscheduled Add-ons: To maintain strict medical compliance and safety protocols, phlebotomists dispatched for a STAT order cannot accept for unscheduled "add-on" for routine draws.

Turnaround Time:
We guarantee the sample will be delivered to the reference laboratory within 60 to 90 minutes of the physical blood draw.
Upon receiving a STAT order, we immediately dispatch a dedicated phlebotomist directly to your facility, bypassing all routine appointments.
Dedicated Logistics:
The phlebotomist will draw the specimen, immediately process/centrifuge it on-site if required, and drive that single sample directly to the reference laboratory for priority testing.
