Upon receiving a STAT order, we immediately dispatch a dedicated phlebotomist directly to the patient, bypassing all routine routing. The phlebotomist will draw the specimen, immediately process/centrifuge it on-site if required, and drive that single sample directly to the laboratory for priority processing.
